Please welcome Maia Palmer as our newest member. Maia is a Delaware native who returned to Brandywine Hundred after ten years of education and travel. Her fine arts degrees are from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh and Washington University in St. Louis. She has taught in Hawaii, Japan, Florida and D.C. with experience at all age levels. She teaches and coaches track at Archmere Academy where she has found a wonderful creative environment. Currently she is focusing on painting and digital art, however, sculpture remains a medium that hold a special draw for her. Maia's experience in Japan yielded a fascination with pattern, paper cranes and rudimentary Japanese. Her Spanish continues to improve as does her avocation for Salsa dancing. Ole!
